okay so I saw this on Justin and Trina's blog and thought it was kinda cool. To find out what you need just google your first name and needs after it and the first thing that comes up is what you need. kinda cool.

Our baby

well here are some photos of our little baby. We think it is a mexican jumping bean because throughout the whole ultrasound the baby was bouncing all over the place. I have been to 2 other ultrasounds (Sherilyns and my neighbour melissa's) and their babies were not even a 10th of how acctive this little one is. I just hope that he/she gets it out of its system before it gets big enough for me to feel it kicking and bouncing 24/7!!!
Anyways, as most of you know we are due on Aug 2 and super excited. so here are some of the photos.

Rogan stuff

Well, I thought i would post some photos of Rogan with his cone from when we first got him, because he was so cute in it. He also had tons of attitude about it. We would let him out of it as long as we were right there and he didnt lick his wounds too much but if we were going away or he kept on tring ot lick himself we would put it back on. So Rogan would turn his back to us and not even look at us when we called him or said we had a treat or anything, funny dog.

Here is a photo of Rogan at halloween- Again , he was being sassy and hated his costume...now dont worry im not one of THOSE dog people, babr had bought it for rogan and ave it to us when she gave him to us. BU ti thought it was fun and cute too.

okay so in case you didnt notice- that is a puppy dog sitting on my bed. We got him today...he is a bischon shitzu yorkie cross and his name is Rogan- i didnt name him, barb (cams half sister) did, he was hers but she has found that dogs stress her out so she asked if i wanted him and i did. so far hes been really well behaved and im excited to teach him tricks and all that jazz. but i thikn he misses his other family right now, but i am sure he will love us in no time!!!'

New Addition to the Family!!

Well, yesterday is when it happened. Cam is really excited now- even though the shock of it at first made him sick to his stomach.

- we got a 42" LCD TV.
Haha i bet you thought we were gonna have a baby....not yet, thouh after cam got thru paying for our TV (which is now his birthday, christmas and a bunch of other presents rolled into one) he promised to take me on a cruise!!
its the same as dads tv but a few inches smaller. and now we are poor so please dont ask us to go and do things that cost money for awhile!!! :)


We also are painting walls this weekend! woohoo. a feature wall in our living room and bedroom. heres a photo of the wall before and after- the pictures cant go back up yet until it cures for week- i guess thats a painters rule! the bedroom is being painted tomorrow so ill put photos up of that later.




and we also got a new microwave, since ours only had a few buttons that worked. popcorn, food plate and 1. so i got one that will match my new wall, kitchenaid, and toaster!!! RED!! dontcha just love it.

good news!

Well this weekend Cam and I drove to Medicine Hat to go to the waterslides there. We went last year but it was closed due to weather. and well, we got there on saturday morning and it was closed again- due to weather as the sign says. but upon going up for a closer look we think that it has been closed for quite a long time. but dang we were upset as nothing-not even their website indicates anything like that. anyways, so we ended up driving 2.5 hours to go to a leisure center that isn't even as good as southland! i guess next time we will try to go to sylvan lake or somewhere that we kow is actually open!

well, the good news is......drumroll please- ive lost 8 pounds! well, not for sure but the scale at the gym is really wonky, i could weigh myself at the beginning of the workout and by the end i would have lost or gained quite a few pounds- so i figured it may not be that reliable, and i bought my own scale. it says i weigh 180- and i like it!! so 8 down 32 to go!!

Update

Alright, So things have been going pretty well in the workout department..still trying to will myself to want to eat super healthy which has been hard since cam seems to love and i mean love junk food! but its all good. As of last week I had lost 2.5 pounds WOOHOO. but the weekend was a little slacking and I bet i have gained them back but i guess we will see when i head to the gym tonight. I think i am going to buy a pedometer so i can count my steps- mom ssays 10,000 a day is what your supposed to do. I have started parking at the far side of the parking lot which adds 200 steps to my day, so im 1/50th of the way to ten thousand!! little things count though so that helps.
drinking my huge bottle of water every day has helped too, i hope- or else all this peeing is just annoying instead of helping!!!
right now im trying to convince cam to let me spend $200 on this super colon cleanse that lasts 3 months, ive heard that most people store anywher from 5-25 pounds af crap-yes literally crap- in the intestines and colon. im hoping i have 25- cuz then id be so much closer to my goal of losing 40 pounds!!
well, thats my update. Ill keep letting you all know how its going. and i will try to do it more regularily.

New Goals

Well, they say that to achieve your golas you have to write them down and let other people know so you can be accountable for your goals. So here I am letting anyone who reads this know that I am going to lose weight. I figure if I keep this up to date on my success and (hopefully none) failures, that things will go better than if I just tried and if I gave up no one would know!!
So since monday I have been going to the gym with my neighbour and walk/running on the treadmill and riding the bikes then when I get home I have been doing crunches and puchups or using our big weight machine in the basement.
So here it is... I weigh...urgh! 188 pounds according to the scale at the gym. too high i must say (I weigh the same as my neighbour and hes a boy!) so my goal is to lose 40 pounds by christmas. I will keep udateing my weight as embarressing as it is so that I will either be happy or ashamed of my progress and change what I need to change. Any helpful suggestions are welcomed, but dont feel like you need to pat me on the back for every pound I lose- even though i am sure that would be appreciated too!! this is more for me to make sure I dont give up after a month- which i have done befor with other workout programs ive started.
oh yeah my goal is to get skinny so i can get fat again.....with a baby. i want to be healthy and thinner before i screw up my body with a baby. :)

The twins are just so adorable- I have to say all my nephews and my little mckenna are all SOOOOOO cute. I guess they just tak after their Auntie Tanny. I just hope my kids will be able to compete with the cuteness factor you guys have all set so high!!!

Well, Im back from sunny Texas! Boy is it hot there! But Jo, Rob, Easton, Taylor and I had a blast! I arrived on the 7th and was greeted at the airport by 3 smiling faces- well 2- Easton wasn't quite so sure of me yet, but it was only a matter of time. :)
We did a lot of fun stuff while there. Schlitterbahn was a highlight- its a waterpark in New braunfels that Jo and I went to- Thanks Rob for watching the boys the whole day for us!!
We went to the Alamo and the other misions of the Almo, they are really old and really cool. We went to the zoo- we lasted about an hour there becasue it was soooo hot, and it kind of stunk like poop. not cool. but the boys enjoyed petting the goats...they were licking us and following us around. Easton wanted to grab them, Taylor just wanted to be close but not touching them at all.
We went to the riverwalk and shopping too, its beautiful there. I wish we had something like that here.
The boys are adorable, and it really is true that they take turns being fussy so you never really have two fussy babies at one time. I figure having and taking care of twins isn't that hard. its the grocery shopping and trying to clean and get things done while you have twins that makes it hard. I wouldn't mind having twins of my own- but don't tell Cam it might scare him of even more!! hee hee.
We took the boys swimming in the apartment complex pool- it was the FUNNIEST thing I have ever seen. Taylor loves to splash. He splashes and laughs and splashes and laughs- oh goodness, dont go swimming with them if you dont want to get wet, they are crazy in the pool. then we would try to take them out and they would practically try to dive bomb out of your arms to get back into the pool!
oh another funny thing. I had a mattress in the front room where i slept. the boys would attack it and climb all over it, and fall off and then climb back up and do it again. I prety much was sleeping in drool covered bed!! owell they are cute so i dont care!- i'll see if i can figure out how to get a video of them doing that on here.
One day we went to corpus chrisite and went to the gulf of mexico beach. it was kinda dirty and seaweedy but it was still cool. Taylor was NOT impressed with the water and getting wet!!!
we also went to the Lexington which is a battleship- Oh sorry Rob I mean an AIRCRAFT CARRIER!! Rob would always correct me and jo when we called it a battle ship! it was really cool to see it and go in all the different parts of the ship. the only sucky thing was that you couldnt take the stroller to all the parts so we would take turns watching the kids and going into the different ship parts. i think the boys will really like it when they can run around and see it all. the top of the carrier was the best- umm i think it was called the flight deck?? rob will correct me. its where the planes land and take off up top on the ship.
And we went to abunch of really good places to eat. whataburger- yummy burgers of course! The cove- where you can do your laundry, wash your car and get a really good meal. Floore Country Store in halotes- where Willie nelson got his start and still comes to play at least 2 times a year. i had m first chicken fried steak there! I cant remember all the names of the really good eatry things but Rob sure knows his good food!!

oh one last thing i promise. ask rob about his new snake friend!! rob hates snakes and one took up residence under their porch.!! needless to say we had snake hunt that night!

well, yesterday we had my birthday dinner at mom and dads. it was so yummy and mom spoiled me by making the famous chocolate gnache (i think i butchered the spelling there) cake. it was delicioso!! mom and dad got me a really nice photo frame too- i guess you cant go wrong buying a photographer frames eh- now i guess i had better actually take photos of cam and I!!
then tonight cam, derek, melissa and I went out for the wonderful ribs of mr tony roma!! i love tony romas!!

SNOW?????

well this is what we woke up to this morning- may 24th and snow!! at least the moisture should help with our new grass!!!

May long weekend

Well, last night cam and I and our neighbours (okay okay i know we have no other friends!!) we wentt o see spiderman 3...i was good, though i think i liked th efirst two better. I just gotback from a wedding, its about 11pm and im so tired that this may be short, but itwas a prety good day. im more excited about the fact that cam and drew (cams bro) sodded our lawn today. now, i havent seen it becasue its dark out and frankly i dont want to go out there right now but im pumped to see it in the light of day and will probably take a couple shots- dang, now i wish i had taken before shots so you could see how ugly it was and how good (i hope) it looks now...
we will definalty have to have the fam over for a bbq or something once he grass settles in and we can walk on it... maybe when we get our fence up! yup, this year we are becoming domesticated and fixing our house up.

Bronchitis and such

Well, for the last week or so Cam has been at home suffering from bronchitis and feeling bored. He cant stand to be doing nothing- yes even his video games bored him after a few days- i know im as shocked as you all are!
On Monday I am starting working at Life Photo Studios, it wont offically open for photo sessions until the 7th or so but i'll be going in a couple times before to set up my office and get programs running etc. I'll take some photos and post them once the place is up and running. meanwhile their website is http://www.lifephotostudios.com and you can check it out if you wanna. im pretty sure ill get a family disount for photos and sessions so if you guys wanna trek up north for photos then maybe we can arrange stuff.
Last night cam and i went to jen lockings "engagement party" which was prety much their reception- we saw April there and it was a good time.

Easter Weekend

Well, our easter was quite boring- Ive ocme down with a cold and cam had to work. Today, however, we decided to take some of our free airmiles passes and we went to Blades of Glory. Hilarious!!! I havent been to a movie where the whole theater was busting a gut in a long time- actually I dont remember the last movie that that happened in. well, thats all... we are boring i know!

Double Date

okay so Cam thought it was corny that we called it a double date- the would rather it just be going out with friends, but what can you do- We went to dinner at Rickys (this is all with our neigbours Melissa and Derek) The dinner SUCKED..our waiter forgot like half of Dereks meal, never refilled our drinks, spilt food on cam and prety much forgot about us. We wre going to go to Blades of Glory- the new movie with Will Ferrel and Jon Heder but it was sold out so we headed to Frank sissons and had us a rousing game or two of Bowling... Im not a very good bowler - I got kicked off my intermurals team at Ricks because my average score was like 43!!! but we had fun anyways... and I got some photos!!

Life as usual

Well, things are pretty much the same ol same old. Cam told me that for my birthday I could go to texas and visit Jo and rob and the twins. Im very excited but getting all this passport junk is really not very fun. Ive been getting ready to switch jobs from cleaning other peoples toilets to photoshopping out other peoples pimples and wrinkles...
