100 things

100 things about me. I was bored.

1. My birthday is June 6 1983 – last year it was 6-6-6 - but it was still a good year
2. my favorite color is red
3. I broke my right arm falling off a couch when I was little
4. My favorite day of the week is Thursday
5. I want to take a massage therapy course
6. I have a list of 19 things to do before I die
7. I have completed 3 of them
8. My favorite movie is While you were sleeping
9. I used to want to be an optometrist because I thought it would be easy- “does this look better or this?”
10. I knew I was going to marry Cam the first time I met him
11. It took him 5 years to realize it for himself, and I waited!
12. I don’t like shopping unless I am by myself, or I am spending other peoples money
13. I love the rain and thunderstorms and can often be found to be puddle jumping, sometimes by myself.
14. I went to school in Idaho for 2 years to become a photographer
15. I have my own photography business and I love it
16. I want 8 kids, Cam wants 1 (maybe) so I bet we will have 3 or 4
17. I played the clarinet in jr. high – I wasn’t very good… probably because I didn’t practice very much
18. I took guitar lessons at Rick’s but again I wasn’t very good…probably because I didn’t practice very much- but also because I cant tune an instrument to save my life and when it went out of tune it sounded bad and so I thought I was bad and wouldn’t try to tune it…vicious circle I know!
19. I recently have had episodes of claustiphobia mostly in bed when cam sleeps on top of the sheets and I am under them and I feel trapped
20. My favorite food is Ginger beef- gotta love the Chinese food!
21. I have met Jessica Simpson, Ashlee Simpson, Eve6, The flys, all at concerts and most before they were actually famous
22. I went to Fairmount on my honeymoon and saw a stupid, not funny, comic act
23. I hate confrontation and cry easily- ask Cam he hates it!
24. I am so glad I bought my house when I did because it has over doubled in value- now I just wish we could afford to move somewhere else- but I love Strathmore anyways!
25. My mom paid for my learners license for my 17th birthday because she was sick of me not driving
26. I wish I could play the piano
27. I have been in 15 states soon to be 16 (Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Idaho, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, Florida, Arizona, Missouri, and June 2007 Texas)
28. I have been in 6 Countries (Canada, USA, England, Spain, Morocco, Switzerland) – okay some were only flight stopovers but they were for more than 2 hours and I still was there
29. I have been to 5 Provinces (Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario)
30. I would love to travel more, Cam thinks traveling is not spending money wisely when you could buy things instead
31. My dream place to visit is Florence Italy
32. I adore my nieces and nephews and wish I had more money to spoil them with
33. I don’t tan easily
34. I have gone skiing 2 times in my life- both in 8th grade
35. I always buy chipits milk chocolate chips but I barely ever make cookies… I just like to eat them
36. I am allergic to nuts – but didn’t know until after high school! How I wish I knew back then!!!
37. I work with the Cubs in church, they cry more than the girls I used to work with who are the same age!
38. I hate the smell of Christmas trees… its just disgusting which is why we will always have a fake tree
39. My favorite show is Gilmore Girls… it comes on during Cubs every Tuesday, Cam tapes it for me even though he thinks it is THE MOST annoying show there is.
40. I love my husband so much!!
41. I also love greys anatomy, Americas next top model, house, scrubs, Las Vegas, CSI, and the hills
42. I’m kind of a TV addict
43. I also have an uncanny ability to remember stupid facts about celebrities and such but cant remember important things.
44. I used to hate broccoli but now it’s my favorite veggie!
45. I love the smell of fresh, clean sheets and would wash them everyday if I could
46. I love my mother in law – unlike stereotypes she is wonderful to me and I like her a lot
47. I also love my 2 fathers in laws and my step mom in law. I think I really lucked out in that department
48. I describe myself as the shyest most outgoing person you will ever meet
49. I really want a puppy – a shitzu, yorkie, bichon cross. Adorable!
50. I am an expert at napping and really any kind of sleeping

52. Halloween is my favorite holiday- I blame my mom…in a good way
53. I have OCD when it comes to silver taps like in the shower- I usually have to shine it before I can shower…its gotten better over the years now its just randomly instead of every time
54. I like reading instruction manuals and figuring out how to work things – I’m a geek I know
55. I think promises should be kept, and if you cant keep them don’t make them
56. I have an immense fear of speaking in public
57. I would love to be on the Amazing Race or Survivor – I think I could do very well
58. I used to be a night and morning person and now I think I am neither (see #50)

60. I used to sell my plasma when I was at Rick’s so I could afford to buy groceries and go out on the weekends

63. I like to organize and alphabetize things, I guess it goes along with the reading instruction manuals
64. I hate orange juice with pulp. I also hate peeling oranges; something about the smell under my fingernails is gross. I usually can get someone else to peel them for me if I crave one.
65. I love dancing, but Cam doesn’t so I haven’t gone out dancing since we got married
66. I am addicted to facebook
67. My first concert was Garth Brooks with my sister my brother and grandma. Its still my favorite one
68. My favorite Disney movie is Little Mermaid
69. I used to pretend to be Ariel at the swimming pool- when the waves came it was when Ursula was mad
70. I love random facts and quiz shows like jeopardy and millionaire.
71. I would love to be on wheel of fortune with my mom- shes really good at it. I would also try to be really annoying just for fun
72. I hate phones. I used to have to work myself up to order pizza or call my friends, I am slightly better now
73. I would like to be in a marathon, or triathlon but I don’t have to motivation to run or train for longer than a week or so
74. I wish I liked to work out but I get bored
75. I had a super hero birthday party when I turned 20 because I felt old. We dressed up as super heroes and went bowling
76. I used to write stories but wouldn’t let anyone ever read them, except one story- april and jordanna read it
77. I wish I could draw or even doodle. My dad, brothers and hubby are all good at it.
78. I wish I could paint – my mom does that really well too
79. I cant walk and chew gum at the same time- literally. I also have troubles sitting and chewing gum
80. People always ask me if I beach my teeth, I don’t, and I think my teeth are yellowish
81. I suck at bowling, I throw the ten pin ball backwards…my wrist just wont go the right way. Five pin, I have to bowl between my legs like a little kid.
82. I tasted Sangria by accident when I was in Spain. I thought it was juice because what restaurant would serve alcohol to minors? They did, and it was nasty- im grateful. Never tempted to try any alcohol since
83. I googled “100 things about me” so I could look at other peoples list and get ideas of things about me. Other people are weird.
84. I used to think I had abdominal cancer because of all the problems ive had with my stomach and area
85. I used to beg my mom to ask the doctors to take out my appendix “just in case we think its just a cramp and I die because we miss it”
86. I’ve always had a fascination with being in the hospital – I went there last year for a couple hours and had the worst experience
87. I don’t have that fascination anymore
88. I believe in the power of prayer and tithing
89. I hate fresh peas but love frozen
90. I hate frozen corn but love canned
91. I love drinking water and prefer it over most drinks most of the time
92. I dream of winning the lottery
93. I never buy lotto tickets so I have no idea how that will ever happen. I have dreams of just finding a ticket on the side of the road
94. Flavored lip stuff makes me nauseous
95. I hate most berries. Raspberries are the worst followed by strawberries. I like blue berry pie
96. I would love Cam to get a motorbike- I think they are sexy
97. I hate a bad immune system and will catch a cold over the phone or TV I swear!
98. I can hear my neighbor snoring in the middle of the night and wonder what he can hear.
99. I like quote books. My Aunt Betty started me on that I think.
